Biography

    Heather Smith earned her BA from the University of Virginia where she took poetry workshops with Charles Wright, Rita Dove and Greg Orr. Later she earned an MFA in Poetry from the Iowa Writers' Workshop.
    Smith's work has appeared in New York Quarterly, TriQuarterly, Fence and Margie.
