Biography

Francesca Maxime is a poet, writer and freelance News Anchor and Reporter in New York City. She has been published in Lips and her work is forthcoming in the Paterson Literary Review and the New York Quarterly. She won an Honorable Mention for her poem Christmas Cards, in the 2012 Allen Ginsberg Poetry Awards. Her first book of poetry, Rooted, will be published by NYQ Books in October (2012). Francesca was born to an Italian-American mother and a Haitian-Dominican father, and grew up outside of Boston. She graduated from Har
