A long term poet, in recent years E.M. Schorb has published several novels.  Paradise Square, his first, was awarded the Grand Prize for Fiction from the International eBook Award Foundation at the Frankfurt Book Fair.   Scenario for Scorsese was published soon after and A Portable Chaos followed, winning the Best Fiction award from “Writers’ Notes Magazine” in 2004.  His latest, Fortune Island, is scheduled for Spring/Summer 2009 publication. Schorb is married, has two daughters, and is a long-time North Carolina resident.  A sample of his paintings is in the gallery.
